Good fan? Not able to use it yet....
I wanted a high CFM fan. I think this would be a good fan if it assembled properly. The holes in the legs and the support bracket in NO WAY come close to lining up to use the set screws. I search for quality at a discount price. What I got was a product made in China (no quality control). I will NEVER EVER buy appliances over the internet again. Not even a simple fan. Enclosed literature states, "STOP, please do not return this product to the store where purchased". You need to deal with Soleus Air, Intl. for returns/replacements. They want me to cut the power cord off the fan and send it to them and they will "supposedly" send me a whole new unit. Does this seem bizarre to anyone else?? They won't just send a new set of legs and support bracket. I live in AZ. I needed this fan in use the past two weeks, and now it looks as though no fan for me until the end of August if I'm lucky. Spend a little extra $ and buy one at a local retailer. Save yourself the hassel.
