Mounted to the ceiling in the hallway, to move air from the living room fireplace to the bedrooms. Works like a charm.

Perfect for RV
We were looking for a slim fan to mount under an upper cabinet in our compact motorhome, to provide a bit of a breeze when we were parked for lunch and didn't want to bother running the generator & AC. This fan was the perfect solution. We have a Vornado heater and are impressed with the quality, performance and quiet operation. This fan is another fine Vornado product. It's quiet compared to other fans, slim enough for our application, the flip-down/swivel feature works well, and the magnetic latch keeps it up & out of the way when not in use.. It doesn't move as much air as we had hoped due to the slim blade, but Vornado "Vortex" design works well. When it comes to quality, performance & quiet operation there's nothing that comes close to the Vornado Vortex, we wouldn't buy anything else. The one mounting feature I didn't like was the requirement to drill down through the bottom of the cabinet and bolt from inside the cabinet. But the base of the fan easily snapped off (examine it closely and you'll see how) so I was able to use some plastic expansion anchors and screws from underneath instead. We're powering it from a small 100 Watt inverter which plugs directly into the 12V outlet next to the fan, works great!

Great Fan
I have had this fan for close to two years and it has worked great in my office. It is quite so it does not disrupt other employees that work near me.

worked great for a year and then stopped working
The V103 was the best fan I had ever purchased..... then it just stopped working after 1 yr. I cant figure out why either but I thought it should of worked longer than 1 yr.
